The DP Global Politics curriculum is undergoing significant changes to enhance its relevance and impact. Key revisions include streamlining the course around four central conceptsâPower, Sovereignty, Legitimacy, and Interdependenceâto provide a focused and comprehensive framework for understanding global politics.
The curriculum structure has been adjusted to introduce a core unit complemented by thematic studies, such as Rights and Justice, and Development and Sustainability, allowing for a more flexible and in-depth exploration of critical issues. For Higher Level (HL) students, new areas like Technology and Equality have been added, broadening the scope of Global Political Challenges.
