MYP Physical Education
The MYP Physical and Health Education (PHE) curriculum promotes holistic well-being by developing students’ knowledge, skills, and attitudes for a healthy lifestyle. Through active participation and inquiry-based learning, students enhance their approaches to learning (ATL) skills while exploring physical and health concepts.
At least half of the teaching time is dedicated to physical activities, including aesthetic movement, team and individual sports, international sports, and alternative recreational activities. The curriculum fosters personal and social growth by encouraging collaboration, reflection, and community engagement. Key concepts such as Change, Communication, and Relationships guide student learning, helping them develop a deeper understanding of health, movement, and well-being.
