She is passionate about teaching Global Politics and has her masters in multicultural urban education.

Melanie has been teaching DP Global Politics, along with DP History and TOK since 2007. She has been the DP Coordinator at her school since 2012 and on the board of the MNIB regional association since 2014. She leads professional development workshops on ATL, integrating ToK and the LP, assessment, unit planning, service learning, and fostering global competency at her school.
