Cynthia Okoth is the Head of Individuals and Societies Department at M-PESA FOUNDATION ACADEMY in Kenya. She has been teaching DP since 2014. She is experienced teaching DP History, TOK, and MYP Integrated Humanities. Previously, she worked at the Aga-Khan Academy, Mombasa. She is always elated to mentor new teachers in implementation of DP teaching & learning philosophy. She has successfully prepared candidates for exams ever since she began teaching and her DP History students have always scored 6 or higher. She enjoys teaching history as it enables students to become critical thinkers, internationally and open-minded as they encounter different perspectives.
